What to expect from MHA: Ultra Rumble closed beta?

Bandai Namco has released a list of fighters from the manga and anime properties in the closed beta.

The playable characters they will have access to are the following:

MHA: Ultra Rumble will feature a few gameplay mechanics to test out during the closed beta. In the battle royale mode, each character has a designated ability or a "Quirk!" that influences the character's offence, support and disruption skills.

These "Quirks" are enhanced by collecting Skill cards found across the stage. These skill cards will vary from each character as players will need to determine which skills will strengthen and support the team during matches.

They will split into two teams, Heroes and Villains, with allocated objectives to complete. These objectives will see players either saving citizens or preventing the opposing team from protecting the citizens.

A release date for MHA: Ultra Rumble has yet to be announced by Banda Namco as of writing.

We expect more information on the upcoming battle royale game as we approach the closed beta test period.
