Nation’s pride Manushi Chillar, who won the Miss World 2017 title recently, has returned to the city. Fans can’t stop praising the beauty already. It was today that Manushi addressed the Indian media after her big win at a press conference in the city where she spoke in detail about her experience at the pageant. She looked stunning in a green Indian outfit flaunting her Miss World 2017 crown.
The 20-year-old Manushi has clearly put India back on the global map with her becoming the Miss World. Manushi competed against 108 contestants from various countries. She was crowned by Miss World 2016 winner, Puerto Rico’s Stephanie Del Valle at the event held in China.
Talking about how she felt when she was announced as the winner, Manushi mentioned, “When I heard them say India, I was ecstatic. It took me a few seconds to absorb it. It’s a moment when you want to laugh and cry at the same time. This was my dream always... to hear India being announced the winner. That was the happiest moment of my life.” She further added, “The victory is slowly sinking in. I am getting a lot of congratulatory calls and messages from everyone back home. I’m overwhelmed by all the love and support that I have received.”
